Hi! I am Ján Tóth. This is my personal website and blog.

I am an independent programmer and researcher in love with virtual worlds and game development.

I believe in first principles thinking, and that programmers should not be adding artificial complexity to the software they create. While I do have academic appreciation for strange and abstract things, I lately prefer simpler tools where the programmer can understand what is going on under the hood.

I am also trying to design and program videogames. More on that later?
